Avani Wildani earned her PhD working with Prof. Ethan Miller. Her dissertation research focused on applications of data grouping for archival power management, data reduction, and reliability, and she did her postdoc in computational neurobiology at the Salk Institute in La Jolla, California, studying the intersection of storage models and neural topologies. As of Fall 2015, she is an assistant professor in the Math & Computer Science department at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
