Archival storage paper accepted to SC12 conference

SSRC authors Ian Adams, Brian Madden, Joel Frank, Mark Storer (NetApp), and Ethan Miller had a paper accepted to SC12. The paper was written in collaboration with Gene Harano at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, and describes the NCAR archival storage environment in great detail. This is the first comprehensive study of a large scientific data archive in nearly two decades. In addition to updating our understanding of archival storage systems, the paper explores aspects of archival storage that haven't been covered in any previous study.
