Reading Group Guidelines
1. Each paper discussion has a moderator.
- The paper moderator should be the one to pick the paper.
- The moderator should upload the paper to the wiki with a PDF link.
- The moderator should email out a reminder the week their paper is being discussed.
2. Before each meeting each attendee should read the paper (or else discussion won't be very useful).
3. Attendees should be active in the paper discussion.
4. Each attendee should consider being a moderator on a paper.
5. The moderator should guide the paper discussion by:
- Discussing the one or two key take-aways from the paper.
- Discussing the positive and negatives of the papers assumptions/designs/evaluations.
- Mention if/how the paper relates to any current (or future) SSRC projects.
- Discussing how can the ideas in the paper be extended or improved in the future.
