Sage Weil is a student working with Prof. Scott Brandt on the Ceph distributed file system. His primary focus is on scalable, distributed metadata management, although his research also includes scalable distributed storage, low-level object storage file systems, and distributed consistency and failure recovery algorithms. His current work focuses on completing the Ceph file system prototype.
