Jeff LeFevre is a first year PhD student at the SSRC working with Professor Darrell Long. He is broadly interested in systems, storage, and data encoding. He has spent summer 2007 and 2008 at Google and previous summers at Teradata working on storage characterization, performance analysis, and virtualization. His current work is on improving disk array performance and reliability.
