Pergamum project poster wins presentation award

SSRC student Mark W. Storer, with Kevin M. Greenan co-presenting, was the runner up in the Best Engineering Presentation category at the recent UC Santa Cruz Graduate Research Symposium. Their poster, "Pergamum: Replacing Tape with Energy Efficient, Reliable Disk-Based Archival Storage", was one of over forty School of Engineering posters featured. The poster describes Pergamum, a reliable, archival storage systems built from a distributed network of intelligent disk-based devices.
